On Tuesday, performance promoter AEG Provides announced its Re: SET performance series, an artist-curated roving celebration that is anticipated to travel to 12 cities this summertime. The Bay Area programs are slated to occur at Stanford’s Frost Amphitheater from June 2 through 4, with the artists over the 3 days chosen by LCD Soundsystem, Steve Lacy and boygenius.
Frost Amphitheater has a capability of about 8,000 individuals and will just feature one stage of music, so there will not be another repeat of the Phoebe Bridgers versus SZA ordeal from Outside Lands in 2015. Although Re: SET avoids using the term “celebration,” for all useful functions, this is generally just a smaller version of a three-day outside fest, total with clear bag guidelines and a yet-to-be-announced selection of food suppliers.
Phoebe Bridgers performs at Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco on Friday, Aug. 5, 2022.

Speaking of Bridgers, she’s scheduled to carry out Sunday of the celebration as part of her band boygenius, that includes Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker. The opening acts, chosen by the supergroup, include Clairo, Dijon and Bartees Strange, in what will undoubtedly be the most heart-on-sleeve of the 3 days.
LCD Soundsystem’s bill alters more towards those looking to party, with British producer Jamie xx, punk rockers IDLES and New Orleans bounce queen Big Freedia, in addition to some yet-to-be-named artists from DFA Records. Steve Lacy’s selected lineup divides the distinction, with James Blake supplying some electronic emo ballads, Toro Y Moi representing the Bay Area and beginner Foushee, whom Lacy collaborated with on the tune “Sunlight.”
General admission entry costs $99.50, with a three-day ticket selling for $250 (VIP tickets cost $275 and $650 respectively). Register at Re: SET’s site for presale ticket gain access to, which starts Feb. 7 at 10 a.m.
